The Royal Albert Old Country Roses Large Teapot is a beautiful and delicate tea set. It is not made in England, unlike the original OCR English china. The quality is inferior and not uniform in color or fit. However, it is still pretty and makes a nice display. The set comes in regular size and can hold 8 cups of tea. The tea set is not lead-free. The teacup and saucer are stamped 'Royal Albert Bone China (c) 1962 Royal Albert Ltd.,' and do not state the country of origin. Coffee can stain the cup, so it is recommended to drink light-colored tea and hand wash the cup with warm water and soap immediately. The tea set is dishwasher safe but not microwave safe.
