The boots are made of high-grade rubber that keeps the feet dry even in extremely wet conditions. The traction on the boots provides excellent balance and stability. However, customers have noted that these boots are not slip-resistant on metal or concrete, and traction does decrease as the soles wear. The boots tend to fit loosely and provide less ankle support than a traditional hiking boot. While some customers found these boots too warm for hiking, others stated that they are comfortable even in temperatures up to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The boots are also easy to slip on with a thick or thin sock, but may take some time to break in to conform to your foot.
