The Nektar Impact LX Mini is a USB MIDI controller keyboard designed for DAW integration. The device is of good quality and stable, compatible with all systems, and supports all DAWs and synth plug-ins. The keyboard is well-Constructed and has great integration, making it a great controller for most DAWs. Although the price is high, it is worth buying, especially if looking for a compact MIDI controller. The software partner of Nektar, Bitwig Studio, has perfect integration. The controller is also great with Cubase 12 and Studio One 5 but has some problems with FL Studio 20. Some functions are not correctly documented in the manual, and there are many functions that require more keys to be pressed at the same time, making it less intuitive for those without experience with MIDI controllers. The pads are of good quality, although slightly stiff, and the velocity intensity can be adjusted. The device needs an update for some functions and an editor, as all operations are currently done manually. If you are buying it for the transport controls in Ableton, it is not recommended as it is based on Max4Live and does not work Consistently. Overall, the Nektar Impact LX Mini is recommended for those experienced with MIDI controllers.
