The couplers do click and lock into connectors to prevent disconnection. It is not fit for keystone wall plates. Customers have used it to extend short fiber cables, couple LC-LC cables together and connect fiber lines while waiting for the switch. It is a great deal that arrived on time and works perfectly. A reviewer also tested with a 150-meter MM fiber run to a 30ft fiber patch and found no loss of signal detected.
