SEGA Games P2SEGA 010086630732 Editorial Review
Shining Tears - PlayStation 2 offers an immersive experience with its captivating story, where players control Xion, a hero with amnesia on a quest to uncover his identity. The game's beautifully crafted anime-style graphics and remarkable sound design, especially during battle sequences, have garnered significant praise from players who appreciate RPGs. Although some players noted that the battle system felt constrained due to its reliance on simple hack-and-slash mechanics, the game includes engaging character customization options and unique co-op gameplay features. Despite minor criticisms such as loading times and occasional AI shortcomings, overall, Shining Tears is regarded as a classic role-playing game that delights fans of the genre.
