What is the temperature range of this thermostat kit?
Answer: This thermostat kit activates fans at 180 degrees Fahrenheit and turns them off at 165 degrees Fahrenheit. -

Does it come with all necessary installation components?

One of the reviews states it will not fit a single core radiator, any reason why it wouldn't?
Answer: It will fit any radiator. Someone stated that you just have to trim the temp probe. -
Question:
What if I solder the probe to the frame touching the fins at the corner where the water comes from the engine. Think it would work?
Answer: You can put it anywhere you want. For me, it comes on way too late, so I mounted mine at the rear of the engine with the probe tip a half inch away but not touching the exhaust manifold. That was the only place hot enough to get it to come on before an 85c coolant temp. -
Question:
Does this fit a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan?
Answer: It will fit any make and model of car or truck...... It's a Universal thermostat controller. -

Can you wire 2 fans with this?
Answer: You can wire two fans, but some customers recommend using a different electric fan dual relay wire harness for better consistency. -
Question:
What temperature thermostat would you recommend to run this setup?
Answer: The recommended thermostat temperature depends on the average temperature where you live and the OEM thermostat. Customers have tried various thermostat temperatures, such as 192F, but caution that using a lower temperature may cause the engine to take longer to reach operating temperature and potentially trigger a malfunction code. -
Question:
Will this also turn on when AC is on?
Answer: The temperature control is not based on the AC. It's based on the temperature of whatever it is plugged into. If the temperature hits 180 degrees, the relay will turn on until the temperature drops back down to 160 degrees. -
Question:
I actually need this but I have no clue how to install it. Do you give directions?
Answer: The directions come in the box, which specifies the wiring connections. Basic knowledge of cutting and crimping wires together is needed for the installation. -
Question:
Does it come with the radiator attachment rods for Dodge vehicles?
Answer: Yes, it does. -
Question:
Will it work with oil? My ATV is air cooled and I'm looking to put a cooler and fan on it.
Answer: This fan controller should work fine for an oil cooler if the 180-degree setting is what you need. The temperature sensor can be installed in the fins of the radiator/cooler, making it suitable for various cooling applications.
