Septicfit Chlorine Tablets are designed for use in aerobic septic systems. The tablets are 2.5"/63.5 mm and fit the 3" tube of these systems. There is a tablet rack inside a 6" diameter pipe, holding around 15 tablets, which typically lasts for 3-6 months, depending on usage. These tablets are not for use in swimming pools. The container can be difficult to open, but the bottom of the lid has a plastic strip that needs to be removed. You can break the seal with a screwdriver or pliers to peel the strip 360 degrees and remove. One person suggested using no more than three tablets every two weeks, and checking the system every two weeks to see if it needs more. The reception of this product varied. One customer was happy that they could find the product online after their local source dried up. Another customer praised the delivery service and packaging. However, some customers were unhappy with the product, citing broken tablets, a lack of dissolution, and an unpleasant smell from their septic system.
