It is a quality item that can cut through thick branches with moderate exertion. It works well with both living and dead wood. It is easy to use and change blades, and it comes with a blade cover. However, it does not fold for storage. The throat depth is unspecified, and the tension lever at the back end of the saw is made of plastic but is strong enough to withstand normal temperature usage. The saw is made in Mexico.
